Dear Reader-
I have made it no secret that I LO-VE me some Instagram…
When they announced their Android (my platform drug of choice) app had rolled out, I actually cheered… out loud.
Anyhoo, since that time I have been using it like a mad-woman…
And it occurred to me today as I thought about what an awesome weekend we had just had that Instagram was almost like a totally random Insta-scrapbook of the memories.
Memories like this pic of Add on our Friday Mommy-Addie movie night…
The image caught me off-guard because she looks older here that she does in person… or does she… she is growing and changing again.
We watched Kim Possible – The Villain Files.
Ever since we got back from Epcot, Miss Add is obsessed with saving the world.
So we decided to fight the bad guys with Kim via DVD that night.
On Saturday we headed to Vintage Indiana thanks to free tickets from Indiana’s Family of Farmers.
It was a gorgeous day to throw a blanket down taste some Indiana wines and spend some time with friends, Puddie and Miss Add while listening to music in the amazing weather!
Miss Add enjoyed an brightly colored Italian ice as we hung out together as a family.
That night I headed out to Girl’s Night compliments of Indiana Fever who graciously hosted the Indy Geek Girls in their awesome Legends Suite.
It was the first time I had ever been to a professional basketball game. Definitely something fun to do with the girls, but also something I would love to bring Miss Add out to since she LOVES every kind of ball sport she can get her hands on!
When I got home from the game, a very special package from my friends at Verizon was waiting for me.
I was so stoked to find out that they are sending me to Type A Parent Conference this month with their 4G Galaxy 7.7 Tablet and DUDE am I in LOVE with this thing.
I wasn’t sure if I would like the smaller screen, but now I am so hooked on it’s portability.
The geek in me is as happy as a kid on Christmas Day with this thing…
I love that I can read a book on the Kindle App, while listening to Spotify and switch over to an email all while cranking out my time on El and the tablet is small enough I am not afraid it is going to fall off the elliptical tray.
Sunday brought church and then a trip to Lowes… with Princess Addie.
We grabbed some beautiful rosemary and a ceiling fan for parts to fix our living room fan light that went out in a very dramatic way a couple of nights ago that may or may not have left me wondering if I had been shot after all four bulbs blew at one time!
Then back home for a lazy Sunday that we couldn’t have needed more.
Made complete with dinner from a tailgate…
And a front porch weenie roast.
We had so much fun this weekend. We are ready for another one right away… is it Friday yet?
How about you, did you do something fun or relaxing over the weekend?
